    Yeas, a VWO diploma gives access to most Bachelor’s degree programmes, but some programmes require you to have completed a specific profile.

  • Is an 'old-style' VWO diploma sufficient for admission to a Bachelor’s degree programme?

    Yeas, a 'old-style' VWO diploma gives access to all Bachelor’s degree programmes. However, some programmes have additional entry requirements.

  • What can I do if my profile is wrong for the degree programme of my choice?

    Please contact the student advisor of the bachelor programme of your choice.

  • Can I be admitted on the basis of my subject certificates if I have not passed the entire VWO examination?

    No, the University of Groningen does not accept subject certificates.

    However, if you are over 21, you can take a colloquium doctum.
