New Unifocus: the new University College Groningen; Landscape in focus; A new prosthetic leg
The new Unifocus, the video magazine of the University of Groningen, is online.
This week:
- University College Groningen. In September the University of Groningen will open its new University College (UCG). The UCG is the University’s tenth faculty and will have its own building and campus.
- Landscape in focus. The Centre for Landscape Studies of the University of Groningen recently launched an interactive website with information on the development and structure of landscapes in the northern Netherlands.
- A new prosthetic leg. Movement scientist Esar van Hal studies the lateral balance of amputees. A new prosthetic device should help improve this balance.
Each episode of the weekly online video magazine Unifocus includes three items related to the University of Groningen, in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
