Opening of the Academic Year - University College Groningen

The Convocation Ceremony for the Academic year of 2018-2019 will be held on Thursday the 6th of September. The ceremony will take place in the oldest and largest church in Groningen: the Martinikerk (Martini church). We are very pleased to celebrate this joyous occasion at such a special location together with our students and all our guests. The programme of the day contains several speeches and musical intermezzos. For example, we are very happy that guest speaker Tasoula Hadjitofi will travel especially to Groningen for this event! We also look forward to listening to organist Eeuwe Zijlstra, who will create the atmosphere and perform during several occasions.
