Qualifications: MSc in High Energy Physics (String theory), PhD in Computational Physics
What you’ll teach at University College Groningen: Linear Algebra, Research&Methodology and IC2I.
Research: My doctoral research addressed the issue of thermodynamics of ion solvation in aqueous and non-aqueous solvents. I have been interested in ion behavior near liquid water-vapor surface and in some organic solvents, which are commonly used in electrochemical energy storage systems.
Personal Information :
My favourite food is… Stuffed grape leaves, manti (dumpling), or kibbeh.. The list surely can go on.
My favourite place in the world is… The Bosphorus. I love crossing the Bosphorus from Asia to Europe by ferry while watching the magnificent view of Istanbul.
Something most people didn’t know about me is… That I am very much interested in traditional folk music songs and I like to broadcast them online.
When I’m not working I’m… Cooking or baking bread/pastry.
