Bas Teunissen, project leader Industry Relations since March 1, 2022

As of the 1st of March, Bas Teunissen has become part of the Industry Relations team as project leader. In this position, Bas will mainly focus on organizing the Industry Relations team, supporting events and activities, and working closely together with the program managers. In addition, he takes part in the communications team and takes on an advisory role within the team in general.

After finishing his bachelor’s in history, Bas completed his research master Classical Medieval and Early Modern Studies at the UG in 2019. After his studies, he started as a trainee at the University, where he participated in the AFAS project and was involved with a study on working from home during the corona pandemic, amongst others. Later, he started working at the Faculty of Science and Engineering as a Matching & Numerus Fixus employee. He will combine his current work at the Faculty of Science and Engineering with his position as project leader within the Industry Relations team. As of June 1, 2022, he will start working full-time with our team of Industry Relations.

We are very pleased that Bas has joined us and wish him every success in the coming period at Industry Relations.
