Master of Didactics

The University of Groningen is one of the partner institutions in the Masters of Didactics project. This is a four-year project led by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education and funded by the European Social Fund. From 2018 to 2022, the project will train 1,000 lecturers from Polish institutes of higher education in didactical and tutoring skills. The University of Groningen is one of the five partner universities in this project, providing training to a total of 210 lecturers.

Groningen is the only partner university to also offer an advanced program for all 1,000 lecturers, which is set to start in 2020. Participants from all five partner universities can participate in this advanced programme, offering an advanced teaching and tutoring certificate, a train the trainer programme, and specialized tracks on academic leadership and higher education research. All of these tracks are supplemented by electives on current topics in higher education.

Additionally, the University of Groningen is responsible for the evaluation of the MoD programme as a whole.
