Data analysis with R
R is a language and environment for statistical computing and graphics. It provides a wide variety of statistical and graphical techniques, and is highly extensible. The language is very popular among academic scientists and researchers. R has a reputation of being hard to learn, maybe due to the fact that it lacks a Graphical User Interface (GUI). This introduction to R will give a starting point for people newly interested in R. It emphasizes on the understanding of how R works, aiming at a beginner's level, rather than at expert use.
