Entrepreneurship Bootcamp and Up-Start Day

18 January 2022

Have you been walking around with an idea or want to start your own business? Are you always looking for new opportunities inside and outside your studies? Do you want to make a change with your passion? This entrepreneurship program can offer a solution!

The Hanze University of Applied Sciences and the University of Groningen offer you several bootcamps that you should not miss.

As Steve Jobs once said:

The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle.

Start your entrepreneurial journey now and sign up now!

What is it all about?

You will learn to further develop your ideas and your expertise in a varied program. In addition, you will have the opportunity to expand your network by meeting other students, speaking to coaches, and hearing their stories.

What will the program look like?

On February 10, 2022, we will host an online Up-Start Day where you will get to know other students and entrepreneurs in an interactive way. This event will follow 7 bootcamp trainings that will take place between March 4 and April 14, 2022.

The bootcamp will take place at Start-up City, Kadijk 2 (when possible) on Thursday or Friday afternoon. Below is an overview of the bootcamps you can participate in:

  • Friday, March 4: Lean Startup, personal leadership and branding
  • Friday, March 11: What are the financing options?
  • Friday, March 18: Online marketing and storytelling
  • Friday, March 25: Meet & Learn, in discussion with entrepreneurs and coaches
  • Friday 1 April: Administrative and legal matters
  • Friday 8 April: Entrepreneur tells his entrepreneurial story
  • Thursday, April 14: How to make an idea scalable.

Application deadline

The deadline to register for the Up-Start Day is February 6, 2022. During the course you can still register for the bootcamps. We would like to hear from you as soon as possible so we can inform you as well as possible. You can sign up with your trusted team or on your own.

Triggered already?

Dennie Jager, participant of last year's Entrepreneurship Bootcamps gained a lot of knowledge during this program. With that knowledge, he also participated in the Rabo Entrepreneur Award 2021.

You are dropped into a room with all kinds of entrepreneurs. Young, old, experienced, but everyone is uncertain. What's coming at you? How do you do it? And then you quickly connect with each other. Under the watchful eye of the coaches, you go one step further every month and eventually they see if you can stand on your own two feet. But also, the practical parts were very useful. Especially the Business Canvas as a starting point was very valuable.
