Effects of a MPG intervention for multi-problem families

Danielle Jansen, Anja Holwerda and Menno Reijneveld have received a grant of € 640,000 from the Gak Institute to fund a research into the effectiveness of an intervention for multi-problem families. The intervention is a combination of - components of - existing interventions whose effectiveness has not been established or is missing. During the five-year study, we will evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention across six municipalities in the Netherlands The aim of the intervention is to help multi-problem families solve their problems and to increase their participation and self-reliance. The purpose of the study is to assess the effectiveness of the intervention for multi-problem families compared to regular care. The study will start in March 2014.
