Eva Zwertbroek

Eva Zwertbroek is a MD/PhD-student at the department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Epidemiology. She had done her BSc in medicine from 2011 to 2014, at the end of her bachelor her enthusiasm for research was aroused. Therefore, in 2015 she started a 5-year trajectory to combine her master in medicine with a PhD. Eva’s PhD focusses on hypertensive disorders in pregnancy. On one hand, she is working on the optimal management and prediction of adverse outcomes when a hypertensive disorder is diagnosed before term. On the other hand, she is working on the prediction of preeclampsia and other hypertensive disorders early in pregnancy
