Applicants with Dutch degrees
You apply for the LLB programme International and European Law in Studielink. If you have a Dutch qualification (a degree from a Dutch high school or university of applied science), you will continue your application by completing this application form. The Faculty of Law is in charge of your application.
You will have to meet the admission requirements for the programme. In addition, you will have to complete the compulsory matching activity for the LLB International and European Law.
The application differs a bit, depending on which degree you have. Please find an overview below to see which application situation applies to your degree:
VWO-diploma
If you have a Dutch VWO-degree, you are directly admissible to the LLB International and European Law. You only have to apply in Studielink and participate in the compulsory matching activity.
Fully completed first year International and European Law at The Hague University of Applied Science ('HBO')
If you have completed the full first year of the International and European Law programme of The Hague University of Applied Science, you need to apply for admission to the LLB programme by using this application form after your application to the LLB programme in Studielink. You need to meet the admission requirements for the programme and you need to join the compulsory matching activity.
Please be aware that since the English proficiency requirements in The Hague are lower than those of the LLB programme in Groningen, you will have to provide an English proficiency test score.

Fully completed first year law degree at a Dutch university of applied science ('HBO')
If you have completed the full first year of a law degree at a Dutch university of applied science, you need to apply for admission to the LLB programme by using this application form after your application to the LLB programme in Studielink. You need to meet the admission requirements for the programme and you need to join the compulsory matching activity.
Please be aware that you will have to provide an English proficiency test score.

University of applied science ('HBO') degree
If you have completed a full university of applied science ('HBO') degree, you need to apply for admission to the LLB programme by using this application form after your application to the LLB programme in Studielink. You need to meet the admission requirements for the programme and you need to join the compulsory matching activity.
