Corona & first year students
Welcome to the faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences! Our bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes will start in September. Despite the Covid-19 crisis the university continues to offer academic education. Since we have to comply with the corona measures, we do have to make adaptations. What does this mean to you as a new student?
From September onwards, most of our courses will be offered online. Where possible and necessary we will combine the online education with lectures and activities on campus, since we feel it is important that you can meet your lecturers and fellow students in person. Soon you will hear from us what your study programme will look like and you will receive an invitation for the orientation.
Is it not possible for you to come to Groningen in September? Don’t worry, we will make sure that in the first semester you can take all the courses online if necessary. Please let us know via the button below that you are unable to come to Groningen.
Lerarenopleiding and AOLB
For students of the Lerarenopleiding and the AOLB, an adapted regulation applies. You will receive more information about this soon.
If you have any questions regarding your specific situation as a result of COVID-19 measures, do not hesitate to contact the academic advisor of your programme. They will be glad to help.
Regrettably, we can not welcome exchange students on campus at the faculty of Behavioural and Social sciences in the first semester. However, all exchange students who were to come to Groningen can take part in our online courses. For more information, please contact the Mobility Office.
