Physics Colloquia

This is the page for the Physics Colloquia of the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

The Physics Colloquia take place Thursdays at 16:00.
The in-person presentations will take place in different leture halls. Please see the announcement poster for more details.

For the Master students:
In order to get credits for the colloquia you attend, you need to be registered for the course in Nestor. It is your responsibility to make sure that you do indeed appear in the student list. If in doubt, please contact Anastasia Borschevsky (a.borschevsky rug.nl).

To remind you, to complete this course you need to attend 10 colloquia.

During the colloquium sessions a presence list will be circulated that students should sign for registration of their attendance. If the list is not circulated it can be signed by the end of the colloquium in the front of the room. Students are encurraged to verify the correct registrations of their attendance on the Nestor site regularly. Normally attandance is registered within a week.

The chairman of the Colloquium Committee, Anastasia Borschevsky is responsible for the decision that students have fulfilled their colloquium obligation. In case of exceptional registrations (e.g. in the case of the attendance of other symposia than the General Physics Colloquium) students should contact Anastasia (a.borschevsky@rug.nl)

The registration of the attended colloquia in this Nestorsite is carried out by mrs. Annelien Blanksma. Students can find the number of colloquia that are registered for attendance under the button 'Registered Attendances'. For matters concerning the actual registration of attended colloquia, students can contact mrs. Annelien Blanksma (a.m.blanksma@rug.nl).
