Where to start

With so much to learn, explore and experience in your new programme, it's important to know where to start. We've collected here, in the Introduction Pages, the most important information for you to get a good start to your programme. Enjoy browsing!

Please make sure to check:

  • Kick-off Activities to see what is planned for you in the first days of your programme. You are expected for the Introduction Lecture on Monday, 4 September 2023 at 9.00 in room NB 5111.0022.
  • Books and other materials to ensure you have the materials you need to get started and suggestions to practice programming if you don't have programming experience.
  • Your personal account to log in and take a look around before classes start. This will also provide you access to the Student Portal, where you can find all information about your degree programme, for the coming years as well.

Your mentor will help you with course enrollments during the first week of your studies; the course enrollment deadline of 6 August does not apply to first-year courses.

Do not forget to complete your university registration on time, including the payment of your tuition fees. You can always check the status of your registration in Studielink, or contact Student Information and Administration in case you have questions about this issue.

We hope that you will enjoy your time at our faculty, learn as much about exciting new developments in your field of science as about yourself, and experience working together with people from all over the world!
