Academic Advisor

Academic advisors assist students in finding solutions to any problem encountered while studying and provide information about the degree programme. They are here to help you find your way in and around your degree programme. The academic advisor is also available for assistance, in case you have questions about (the preparation for) your degree programme.

Jennifer Smit-Hobbs (first- and second-year bachelor students) and Rachel van der Kaaij (higher-years bachelor students and (pre-)Master's students) are the Academic Advisors for the BSc Artificial Intelligence. We are here to help you find your way in and around your degree programme. The academic advisor is also available for assistance, in case you have questions about (the preparation for) your degree programme. Jennifer will be personally available during the Introduction Lecture and can be contacted by email: academicadvisor.bsc.ai rug.nl. Check the Student Portal for additional contact information, including how to book an appointment. Note that she is not available during the summer holidays, from 13 july until 6 August. If you encounter problems or have questions during the summer, please first check the Student Portal for a solution or answer.
