Clothes, make-up, accesoires

Here are a few recommendations concerning clothes and the make-up when shooting a video.

Clothes

  • Please don´t wear anything with small patterns, because they could cause an annoying effect in the image (called moiré effect);
  • Also nothing in white, better are some beige or grey colors;
  • Shirts with striped pattern are not ideal for filming. It tends not to flatter the person being filmed;
  • In general we would recommend some simple clothes and most important: you should feel comfortable with it! If you´re unsure about the dressing, bring some choices along. This is especially relevany when shooting multiple video’s where it would be illogical for you to wear the same thing every single time.
  • In most cases you will be in a so-called half-shot, so from the waist up. Spending lots of time on finding the right shoes may not be necessary.
  • If you are in a video with someone else, it is wise to discuss wardrobe choices to avoid clashing colours or too similar outfits.

Make-Up

  • Important for men and women! Please bring some make-up and powder for your face. The camera sees everything and if it is getting warm in the studio, you will definitely need some during the shooting.

Accesoires (props)

  • Make sure all props in the storyboards are brought to the set.
