Interdisciplinary Skills Opportunities (ISO)

On Wednesday, 18 February, the Interdisciplinary Skills Opportunities evening will take place from 19:00 to 21:00 in the Acedemy Building. The walk-in starts at 18:30 for registration for second-year honours students.

The evening will open with a short introduction in the Aula. This will be followed by two interactive Meet & Greet sessions with Master's representatives from the entire university.

The event marks the conclusion of the 3 EC components on interdisciplinary collobration and boundary crossing (being open to other perspectives). The Meet and Greet sessions offer an opportunity for second-year honours students to broaden their horizons by connecting with lecturers from across the University of Groningen who teach in diverse, interdisciplinary programmes. They will share their experiences on how collaborations between students with different disciplinary backgrounds benefits everyone involved and adds value to learning. During the sessions, the Master's representatives will intorduce a project or theme related to their programme.
