Ellis, Charles Drummond
The Englishman Sir Charles Drummond Ellis (1895 - 1980), son to a manager, was a physicist.
He worked mainly in the field of beta decay and gamma decay. He debated with Elise Meitner on whether gamma decay precedes or succeeds beta decay.
