Harkins, William Draper

The American William Draper Harkins (1873 - 1951) was a physical chemist.
Harkins correctly predicted the existence of the neutron in 1920, which was eventually detected by James Chadwick about a decade later. He was the first to use the word "neutron" in connection with the atomic nucleus
