3.3. Supervising from the Inside Out
The way we supervise PhD researchers is shaped by our professional identity, values, assumptions and the academic contexts in which we work. This interactive workshop supports supervisors in clarifying how these elements inform their supervisory approach and how to translate them into clear, consistent supervisory practices. A core outcome of the workshop is that each participant will draft a concise Statement of Supervision Approach that can be used in grant applications, fellowship materials or recruitment documentation.
