About the Master's

Shape equitable and sustainable futures for people and the planet.

In this programme, you’ll explore how to design equitable, resilient, and livable societies by rethinking today’s systems and imagining new ones. You’ll combine social sciences, geography, and ethics to examine the cultural, ecological, and power dynamics that shape sustainability.

Through hands-on courses in case studies, scenario building, and collaborative research, you’ll integrate theory with practice, gaining both critical insight and real-world experience. Throughout the year, you’ll build a professional network and develop the tools to drive change in policy, consultancy, NGOs, or research, creating futures where people and planet thrive together.

In a 45-minute presentation, you’ll learn what the programme is about. There are two presentation rounds, so you can choose the time that suits you best.

What to expect:

  • An introduction to the programme by the Programme Director

  • Insights from a current student

  • What you can do after graduation: career opportunities

  • Practical information on admission and application

  • Time for Q&A
