Make your study association more sustainable!
Do you want to make your study association more sustainable? The Green Office is here to help! We have made a checklist especially for study associations and you have the opportunity to apply for a sustainability subsidy.
The Green Office has developed a label that the study associations can obtain. This allows you to show how sustainable you are, and in what areas you can improve.
Do you want to get started with the improvements but don't have the funds available? Then you can apply for a sustainability subsidy at the Green Office. This subsidy application is possible for all student associations recognized by CUOS. The checklist document contains all kinds of tips and the further requirements for a sustainability grant application.
Here are a few examples of things you can get subsidy for:
- Greening your office
- Waste reduction at your student association
- Contribute to making students and stafff members aware of sustainability (for example: sustainable cooking, transport, or jobs)
- Sustainable solution for members who have poor access to the building of the association
- Organising a symposium or lectures around the theme sustainability
- Sustainable catering during an event
Below is an overview of the assessment of the checklist and the submission of a sustainability grant application. The checklist document contains a detailed explanation of all components. This document can be downloaded here (only in Dutch).
Important: you can decide whether you will apply for the label, the subsidy or both.
