Contest: come up with a new name for UG solar field

02 November 2017

For the past few months the UG has been building a large field of solar panels. This field of 1.700 solar panels has recently opened at the north side of the Zernike Campus. But this field doesn’t have a name yet! And no name means no glory. So we need your help coming up with a name! The name could be anything: your favorite sustainable teacher or co-worker, an inspiring historical figure, or just a nice or funny name.

The winning name will be displayed at the solar field. And the winning person gets a WakaWaka! This is a portable charger and lamp that runs on solar power.

Send your favorite name(s) to: greenoffice@rug.nl. Please do so before the end of 24 november.
