The planned innovation is a multi-course programme that should lead to improved skills of critical thinking and academic debate. There are in total six courses that should benefit from these changes. Two fall under the Graduate School of BSS. Four courses do not fall into the excellence programs, but are key courses in preparation for the courses in the Research Master. For the courses in the bachelorprograms, this entails problem-based group discussions about cases and articles, wherein the tasks chosen and the guidance of the student-tutor will likely elicit discussion amongst the students. For the two courses in the Research Master, students will take part in mock-defences, asking questions as opponents and defending specific chapters. Third year bachelor students and students of the ReMa will be invited as an audience, the former of which will use the defences as a point of discussion in their own groups.
