Living Lab concept leads to real innovation

The successful Living Lab concept (‘Proeftuin’) is the main lead to long term innovation in the Northern Netherlands states the Innovation Report 2016 Northern Netherlands. The investigation has been carried out by Prof. Dries Faems, Innovation & Organization, UG. A living lab is a user-centered, open-public private innovation ecosystem.

The Northern Netherland strenghtens its status on Healthy Ageing

As of 1 September 2016, Marian Joëls, presently Professor of Neurobiology at the University Medical Center in Utrecht, will be the new Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of Groningen/UMCG. Joëls is looking forward to come to Groningen. ‘I can’t wait to take up this new challenge.
