|Where:||Zernike: Van Dooren Veste – AULA hall, at ZP11|
Are you interested in global energy developments? Want to learn about the issues that ‘keep energy leaders awake at night’? Would you like to meet one of the world’s most influential energy organisations? Then come to the Energy Lecture by Dr Christoph Frei, Secretary General of the World Energy Council, on 24 May.
During this Energy Lecture, you will get the chance to discuss the energy transition on a world scale and learn what is needed to make the energy system more sustainable, and keep it affordable and secure at the same. What is happening around the world to translate the momentum of the Paris Climate Agreement into concrete sustainability action, and are we doing enough?
The Energy Lecture is open to everyone. Students interested in energy economics, climate change politics, energy systems analysis, international affairs and environmental studies are especially encouraged to come.
