Thursday: U4 lectures by Nobel Prizewinners live on the internet

10 December 2012

On 13 December, the University of Uppsala (Sweden) will be hosting the annual Nobel Prizewinners Lectures. These lectures by winners of a Nobel Prize can be followed live on the Uppsala website, as part of the U4* lectures programme.

The U4 programme invites students and staff of the U4 universities, Uppsala, Ghent, Groningen and Göttingen, to follow lectures by renowned professors and other speakers via a live stream link. The University of Groningen, for example, organized a popular broadcast of the lecture given by Richard Dawkins on the occasion of the opening of the Life Sciences building within the same framework.

You can find more information about the lectures on the University of Uppsala website. www.uu.se/en/about-uu/discover-uppsala/lectures/nobel-lectures

Thursday, on this site, you will be able to link to the lectures. The lectures from the past four years can also be viewed on this site.
