Hot brownies with mint ice-cream; Oh and I just love avocados & sweet potatoes, however they are served!

My favourite thing about Groningen is…
In a nutshell: The small but vibrant bubble that's truly a home to such a diverse group of people - it has the cosiness of a village but still all the benefits of a large city and that there's always something to do for everyone.

My favourite place in the world is…
Being in nature with my good friends/family.

Something most people don’t know about me is...
That I have a massive immediate family - I'm the youngest of 6 kids, but I'm the only child in the Netherlands. The rest live in England and Australia. Just to spend some time with each other (including partners and their kids) we have to hire out a hall... It's probably why I have such a strong need to feel like a part of a community.

My biggest achievement is...
Finding happiness both in my private life and at a job I really love.

When I’m not working I’m busy...
Spending time with my partner, friends and family; (Zumba) dancing; learning a new skill; reading psychology books; watching Sci-Fi, comedy, romance or (historical) drama series on Netflix; and when I really have time, decorating (cup)cakes.

My inspiration is...
People who see what needs to be done and care so much to actually make the change. Oh, and those who can see past conflict and set aside their differences and past pains to create a mutually better future (e.g., Nelson Mandela).
