On Tuesday, March 24, astronomer Margot Brouwer (Kapteyn Astronomical Institute, University Groningen) will present the case for dark matter and recent observations which shed light on the dark matter in the Universe. She will discuss the Euclid satellite which will hunt for the origin of dark matter and present the Full Dome Planetarium movie "Phantom of the Universe".

From the journey of protons racing through the world’s largest particle collider in Europe to up-close views of the Big Bang and emergent cosmos, "Phantom of the Universe: The hunt for dark matter" is a fulldome planetarium show designed to immerse audiences in the search for dark matter. This is a collaboration of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, University of Texas at Arlington, Michigan State University, IFIC at University of Valencia, as well as other institutions. It is narrated by Oscar-winning actress, Tilda Swinton.
The presentation including the film is from 20:00 - 21:30 at DOT, Vrydemalaan 2, Groningen. Please be present at 19:45 to enter the dome. Tickets cost €6,00 per person. This show will be in *English*.
