New collections in AM Explorer

A number of new collections have been added to Adam Matthew Explorer, an online platform for primary education and research resources:

  • A Global History of Epidemics, 1800-1970
  • Girlhood: Magazines and Print Culture
  • A new module within the East India Company Collection

New UGP publication with the Faculty of Arts

The book Missie (on)voltooid: Twee eeuwen innovatie in de aardappelzetmeelindustrie is now available online and open access at University of Groningen Press. Edited by Dorien Knaap and Marijn Molema (both from Faculty of Arts) and compiled by third-year history students, the book depicts 200 years of economic innovation in the northern Netherlands.

Open access publication in the spotlight from the Faculty of Arts

The article in the spotlight for the month of December 2025 is titled Dogwhistles, Discrimination, Humour and the Law: Regulating Implicit Messaging’, written by postdoctoral researcher Jennifer Young (Faculty of Arts). We asked her a few questions about the article.
