Recruitment process for the new Chair of the Board begins

The recruitment process for the new Chair of the Board of the University of Groningen has commenced. Chasse Executive Search has been appointed to support and manage the recruitment and selection process.

The vacancy has been published on the Chasse Executive Search website. A comprehensive candidate profile is also available, outlining the role, the organisational context and the qualities sought in the new Chair.

Applications, consisting of a cover letter and curriculum vitae (submitted as two separate PDF documents), must be received no later than Friday, 28 August 2026 via info chassesearch.nl.

Following the closing date, Chasse Executive Search will draw up a shortlist of candidates whose experience and profile best match the requirements of the position, taking into account the overall field of applicants. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a more in-depth interview, during which there will also be an opportunity to discuss the University, the broader context of the role and the challenges and responsibilities of the position.
