Grants week 2017: 9 to 13 October

Finding and applying for funding is the perfect way to boost your research career and experience international opportunities. Throughout the Grants Week you will be introduced to national and international funding schemes, and acquire insider-tips for a successful grant application. The interactive programme includes workshops, presentations and networking opportunities, and is meant for researchers, research and education managers, and funding professionals, in all career stages. Renowned experts in national and international funding will be present to tell you everything you need to know about grant applications for research and education.

Programme

  • Monday afternoon - Grand opening
  • Tuesday - NWO and ERC individual grants
  • Wednesday - Internationalisation, education & training
  • Thursday - Collaborative grants in Horizon 2020 and some other funding programmes

Workshops

Apart from the regular programme, there's also a training programme with workshops. Some require a small fee.

  • Tuesday 10 October - How to write a competitive proposal for Horizon 2020
  • Tuesday 10 October - The Art of Scientific Storytelling
  • Friday 13 October - Media strategy
  • Monday 16 October - How to make a video of your research
