P.F. (Peter) Veltman, LLM

Peter Veltman has been working in notarial practice since 1995, initially as Candidate Civil Law Notary and, since 2005, as Civil Law Notary. He is an associate with Elan notarissen in Steenwijk. Peter studied notarial law, Dutch law, and fiscal law at the University of Groningen. He has been a lecturer with the Department of Private Law and Notarial Law since 2000. His main expertise is on the law of persons and family law, in particular estate planning. Peter has published various articles in this field. In addition, he is a contributor for the promotion of notarial science foundation (Stichting tot bevordering der notariële Wetenschap), an editor of the handbook 'Boedelafwikkeling', a member of the editorial board of 'Rechtspraak notariaat' and teaches professional training courses for candidate civil law notaries.
