On 18th March 2015, Mike Erdos was awarded his well-earned PhD degree for his thesis on the "Genetic Etiology of Type 2 Diabetes. From Gene Identification to Functional Genomics". He is a Senior Staff Scientist in the Collins laboratory at the National Center for Human Genome Research, NIH (Bethesda, USA).
