A newly appointed professor starts his or her tenure with an inaugural lecture. In a lecture of up to half an hour, the professor tells about his or her research in a way that non-colleagues can understand as well.
Within the Faculty of Law, there is often an inaugural speech from one of the professors. In many cases, their inaugural lecture is recorded. The inaugural lectures of our Faculty (from April 2022 until now) are available as podcasts.
