About us Faculty of Law Outgoing exchange (for current students) Grants and insurance

Grants and insurance

Your application for an exchange period also counts as your application for a grant. When you receive notification of a place for an exchange, you will also learn whether or not you have been awarded a grant. In general the grant offered to exchange students is either the Erasmus+ grant or the Marco Polo grant

Besides the Erasmus+ grant and the Marco Polo grant there are other grants available from different institutions. These grants may also be available for students that do not participate in one of our exchange programmes or go on a placement period abroad. Law students that wish to spend their exchange at a university which is not listed in IESE should realize that in such cases the Faculty of Law cannot offer any financial compensation.

Students are responsible for arranging full insurance coverage for their exchange. Students should ensure that their insurance coverage is sufficient at the moment of departure and that it covers the entire period of their exchange abroad. More information can be obtained from the students’ own insurance company.
