SeaChanges: Apply for PhD positition
SeaChanges is a forthcoming international doctoral training network spanning archaeology and marine biology, which will offer 15 fully-funded, salaried PhD studentships across seven institutions in six countries, starting in Autumn 2019. The network takes a long-term perspective on human exploitation of marine vertebrates, with projects covering species from herring to sperm whale, timescales from decades to millennia, and all of Europe's seas and beyond.
Formal recruitment of PhD researchers will start in March 2019, but in the meantime we are accepting expressions of interest from suitable potential candidates. If you are interested, please review the project descriptions and eligibility criteria at this website — and complete the online form, ideally by March 8th 2019. You can also email seachanges palaeome.org for more information.
These PhD positions will be available at the following universities:
· University of Oslo (Norway)
· University of Groningen (the Netherlands)
· University of York (UK)
· University of Cambridge (UK)
· University of Copenhagen (Denmark)
· University of Bologna (Italy)
· Instituto de Investigacións Mariñas – CSIC, Vigo (Spain)
