The official opening ceremony on 5 September meant the festive kick-off of a new academic year and the start of the Careers Company.
After a warm welcome by Dean Harry Garretsen and EBF chairman Matthijs van de Grift, the speakers of the Leadership Panel were introduced by chairman of the day Boudewijn de Bruin, professor in Financial Ethics ("an oxymoron maybe?", he mentioned)
On the theme 'Ethics and the crisis', Jan Sijbrand, executive director at the Dutch Central Bank (DNB) explained the viewpoint of the supervisor, and Gerard van Olphen, CEO of SNS REAAL and alumnus of FEB, gave the viewpoint of a financial institution.
