Peter vd Akker in the news

Peter van den Akker has been in the news twice recently.

Young Fellow Collegiality Award

(1) He won one of the three 2010 Young Fellow Collegiality Awards from the European Society for Dermatological Research and the Japanese Society for Investigative Dermatology. The prize money is intended to enable him to visit a collegial research department in Japan and for him to present his research data at the Japanese conference on investigative dermatology.

City of Talent movie

(2) Peter was selected to star as the 'medical talent' in the City of Talent introduction movie for the students' KEI week. This movie was made to give Groningen's Talents a face and it was shown on the Grote Markt on August 16th. Check out the movie on cityoftalent or on Youtube.
