University of Groningen selects four applications for pilot programme digital testing

14 September 2011

Last week the Steering Group ratified the Desk Research Team's proposal to select four testing applications for the pilot programme in Idem Dito. The selected packages are:

  • LPLUS (www.lplus.de)
  • TeleToets / Compass (www.andriessen.nl)
  • Questionmark Perception
  • Quayn (quayn.nl/)

The DRT found that these packages best meet the University of Groningen's requirements with regard to digital testing. The packages also obtained high scores of the audience during the presentation day on 7 July.

We will be planning pilots in the next few months with these four applications. The pilots will examine the whole chain from test development, delivery, analysis and re-use of tests and test items.

Floor Mulder (Faculty of Medical Sciences), project manager of the piloting programme, is currently discussing with faculty contacts which pilots will be carried out and which groups of teachers, students and other participants (test experts, student assistants) will be involved.

André Rosendaal (Faculty of Arts)  is conferring with the software companies about the set up of the testing environments. The piloting plan should be ready early in October.

If you are interested in participating in the pilots or if you want to know more about the project, please contact the project manager: Sake Jager, s.jager rug.nl, tel. 5921.
