HR Expert Webinar: approaching cultural diversity in a digital work environment

27 August 2020

On Thursday 10 September, the IWCN (International Welcome Center North) in collaboration with the Language Centre of the University of Groningen, will be organizing a HR Expert Webinar about approaching cultural diversity in a digital work environment.

Despite that we are all experts on working digitally now, working in a digital environment can already cause some communication problems for people who share a language and culture. If cultural differences are added to the mix, this can cause some additional communication issues. When the home and work culture of one colleague is very different from those of another colleague/manager/customer/employer, it's good to be aware of it. And to learn how to work with it!

Based on a number of practical examples, the Language Centre will give great insights on the crossroads of working digitally and cultural differences.

Do you already have experience with this? The webinar hosts would love to hear about your experiences and/or problems so they can discuss these during the presentation. You can mention them on the registration form.

As with all previous HR Expert breakfast sessions, the program is put together by experts who are happy to answer all your questions after their presentations. If you or your organisation still have questions, you can always sit down with the experts at a later moment for custom solutions.
