Propaedeutic certificate of an applied science programme ('HBO-propedeuse')

It is possible to enter one of our bachelor programs with a propaedeutic certificate of a university of applied sciences (HBO). You will have to meet the entry requirements set out below.

These entry requirements are derived from the requirements for holders of a Dutch pre-university diploma (VWO).

In addition, we’ve learned that for many students with this propaedeutic certificate, studying at university level is often (too) difficult. Therefor each application is carefully assessed by the Admissions Board Bachelor programmes on knowledge, insight and skills. If the candidate has these, there is a higher chance that he or she will successfully complete the bachelor's degree programme.

More information and the application procedure you'll find here.

Still have questions? Like to know which HBO programme is a good choice? Please contact the secretary of the Admissions Board Bachelor programmes via 050-3637361 or admissions.board.bsc.fse rug.nl.
