Video: Iris Vis on the logistical challenges involved in introducing LNG
Liquefied natural gas (LNG) plays an important role in the transition to sustainable energy. Introducing LNG on a large scale should reduce the negative environmental impact of road and water transport. Iris Vis, professor of Industrial Engineering at the University of Groningen, studied the logistical challenges involved in the introduction of LNG. ‘Sustainable energy is worthwhile, but not without a sustainable distribution network.’
