Harry Garretsen attended hearing of Parliamentary Committee on Finance about abolishing dividend tax
On Thursday 14 December, Prof. Harry Garretsen was invited to attend the hearing of the Parliamentary Committee on Finance about the Dutch government’s intention to abolish the dividend tax. Garretsen is Professor of Economics at the University of Groningen and was asked to give his expert opinion in response to his opinion piece Afschaffen dividendbelasting: leuk voor Shell, niet goed voor ons land [Abolishing dividend tax: great for Shell, not so great for our country].
