Prof. Pieter Jansen appointed head of Wetenschappelijk Bureau Flynth Adviseurs en Accountants

Prof. Pieter Jansen has been appointed head of the Science Office (Wetenschappelijk Bureau) of accountants and advice organization Flynth Adviseurs en Accountants. Jansen will remain affiliated with the Faculty of Economics and Business of the UG as Professor of Controlling and Programme Director of the Executive Master in Finance & Control.
Flynth wants to use the Wetenschappelijk Bureau to provide its advisors with a strong knowledge network. Jansen will be responsible for the design, organization and implementation of research contributing to practical applications for entrepreneurs in the field of controlling.
Helping people make the most of their talents
‘Helping people make the most of their talents has been a recurring theme throughout my career’, says Jansen. ‘I do it through research, teaching and heading various degree programmes. I am really looking forward to the new challenges that this appointment will bring me.’
Flynth
Flynth Adviseurs en Accountants is the Netherlands’ largest advice and accountancy firm for small and medium-sized enterprises. Flynth is rooted in the agricultural cooperative ideology – by and for entrepreneurs. The company aims to promote collaboration within a knowledge network of clients, knowledge institutions and among its own staff.
