Manda Broekhuis appointed Professor of Professional Service Chains
Manda Broekhuis has recently been appointed as Professor of Professional Service Chains. Broekhuis is a long-standing member of the Faculty of Economics and Business team. She has made great contributions in developing service operations as a research field and education topic, and has supervised and executed many research projects in healthcare, public and social services.
Currently, Broekhuis is Programme director of the Master Supply Chain Management and Technology and Operations Management, including the Double Degree TOM. She is also associated as scientific advisor to Espria, a large healthcare institute in The Netherlands. Broekhuis has recently been involved in a large research project on preventing and reducing socially and economically determined differences in health in the Selwerd neighborhood. For this project the team received funding by ZonMw, a national organisation promoting innovative health research.
