Contact information & walk-in hours
Email us for a 30 minute appointment (see Contact information student advisors below for the email adress of your program). Formulate your reason for an appointment as clearly as possible and include your S-number. Send your mail from your RUG account, otherwise it may end up in our SPAM folders.
We ask you to email us first with the topic you want to discuss so we can determine if an appointment is really necessary or you are better helped another way.
For short, practical questions there are walk-in consultation hours (no appointment needed).
Always check Brightspace for last-minute cancellations and more information.
Walk-in consultation hour
The walk-in consultation hours - BSc students click here, (pre-) MSc students click here - are for quick questions and a student advisor only has up to 10 min. for your meeting. Do you think you need more time? You could make an appointment with the student advisor of your specific program. Sometimes, during a walk-in consultation, the student advisor might decide to make an appointment for a longer meeting with you, if it turns out you need more time. You don't need to make an appointment for a walk-in consultation. Via the links above and below under Contact information you will find the times
Please note: walk-in hours might be cancelled last minute due to illness or circumstances. Always check our Brightspace.
The Student Support Desk can help you with most practical questions: Student Support Desk online.
