1st edition Youth, Education and Work - 2017, Groningen
'It was a great opportunity to meet people from around the world and share our experiences, including many workshops and new methodological tools on fieldwork. Beyond the fact that I made good contacts with people that may help me to get further on my upcoming researches, I made some friends in the summer school as well as becoming a part of the network.
I would absolutely recommend this summer school, because people from all different backgrounds are welcomed by the community of researchers, practitioners and staffs to share their experiences.'
'The summer school offered an excellent range of speakers and participants, providing a space full of knowledge, enquiry and learning. It was excellently facilitated, giving different approaches and tools to a room full of action-oriented researchers, practitioners and students.
There were many benefits from this summer school programme, enhanced by the participants themselves. We were able to approach the focus topics from a range of perspectives and contexts, enriching the discussions and presentations by the chosen experts.
I would absolutely recommend this summer school to others, especially those looking to bridge the areas of academia and practice - to become active 'pracademics'. The ability to step outside of your own norms and realities and approach the same idea from a range of perspectives only serves to enhance the work we all d o.'
Furthermore, Groningen is lovely! The quietness from being a bike-friendly city makes it even better.'
