'It was a really good experience, the organisation was excellent and the activities interesting. I enjoyed the opportunity of having a practical approach from museum's professionals as a counterpart for academic knowledge.'

'I would recommend this summer school for a number of reasons. One of them is to have the opportunity (that you may not normally have) to meet and talk to not only established academics and curators in the field but also inspired fellow students. The summer school was very well planned with its lectures, readings, visits and activities. The approach was wide and everyone could find something that would be directly relevant. The atmosphere was inspiring and friendly, I felt I was personally taken care of. The major benefits for me were to learn about the latest discussions in the field, to get insights from real and top curators and to observe the planning and running of the summer school for my later teaching experience.'
