St. Patrick's Day

One day of the year, everyone is at least a bit Irish. Groningen may not be in Ireland, but that’s no reason not to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! Groningen’s Irish pubs are dressing up for the occasion and ESN also throws a great party. Read Natasha’s St. Patrick’s Day blog for more tips!

American Football - Groningen Giants

On Sunday, March 18th, the Giants will play their first home game of the season against Utrecht Dominators. The Giants are new in this division and are aching to prove themselves! Entrance is free, so even more reason to check it out.

USVA Flicks - Short Film Festival

Flicks is a short film festival that stems from the Cultural Student Centre Usva in Groningen. The committee has selected the best out over 250 movies, all made by students. At the end of the festival, a jury will select the best movies from the bunch.

City Central - Multi-local radio talk show

City Central connects international residents to the ins and outs of what's happening in Groningen. On Friday night, City Central will present a live radio talk show about being a local in more than one place.

Night of Groningen

This weekend, there’s another city run - at night this time. Starting today, you can sign up for one of the four races - from 5k to a half marathon.

Integration Night 2018 - ESN

On Tuesday 20th of March, the time has come for the one and only Integration Night at ESN Groningen. This night will allow you to experience an amazing night with activities organised and hosted by different student associations throughout Groningen.
